What's running

One workshop at the moment, done properly. More are in the works — wrapped lamps is simply the one that is ready.

Wrapped lamps

You start with a bare white lampshade and a table covered in yarn. By the end of the afternoon it is a striped lamp that works, plugged in, sitting on your counter at home.

There is no pattern to follow. You choose your colours, decide how wide each band runs, and change your mind partway through — that is most of the fun. The wrapping itself is simple enough to learn in five minutes and absorbing enough that three hours disappear.

What is on the table

  • A lampshade, base, and cord set
  • Yarn in every colour on the table
  • Tools, and hands-on help whenever you get stuck

More is coming

Wrapped lamps is the first of several. New sessions get planned around what people ask for, so if there is a craft you have been wanting to try with a group, say so — it may well become the next one.
